Aldea Coba is located in the town of Coba, Tulum, Quintana Roo. Between Tulum and Valladolid, both tourist destinations are half an hour from the hotel. The Coba Archaeological Zone is 5 minutes away.

For the comfort of all our guests we have a swimming pool and splash pool, lounge chairs area, outdoor terrace and Starbucks® coffee bar.

We have six rooms divided into three categories: Standard Bungalows, Premium Bungalow and Villas.

The Villa has 75m2, with terrace and private pool, has a minibar with snacks included and coffee maker inside the room. All Villas have a view of the Sac-Be and the Mayan jungle. The Bungalow is a standard room of 42 m2, overlooking the Sac-Be or the garden.

 

Both rooms have air conditioning, fan, safety box, hair dryer, hot and cold water, and a private bathroom.

The standard Bungalow is a room with a view of the Sac-Be, chukum and Mayan stone finishes, air conditioning, fan, safe, hair dryer, hot and cold water. The Premium Bungalow has private areas for more comfort, terrace with lounge chairs and lounge chairs, Jacuzzi with hot and cold water, smart fan and minibar with snacks included.

The Premium Bungalow is a 22m2 room with a terrace and private jacuzzi, an area equipped with an outdoor hammock for relaxation, view of the Sac-Be, fridge with snacks included, coffee maker and smart fan. The Villa has 75m2, with terrace and private pool, fridge with snacks included, coffee maker, air conditioning and bathroom with rain shower with majestic view of Sac-Be and the Mayan jungle.

The concept of Aldea Coba an Escape Boutique Experience is one of escape and disconnection from everyday life, offering a space to connect with nature, tranquility and the people who accompany them.

Yes, we are a family hotel, all ages are welcome. We have cribs upon availability, in case they are needed.

Children under 10 years old are included in the rate, from 11 years old on they have extra cost.

We are not a “Pet Friendly” hotel, however, we are flexible with some pets and breeds. Please ask our advisors for more information. The entrance of your pet may have an additional charge to the rate.

The maximum number of people in the room is 4 people (including children) in rooms with two queen size beds and 3 people (including children) in rooms with one king-size bed.

We assure rooms ready at 15:00 hrs, check out is at 12:00 hrs. Late Check Out is possible depending on availability.

Coba is known worldwide for its Mayan Archaeological Zone, which has the highest pyramid of the entire Yucatán Peninsula, likewise the town has different cenotes where you can enjoy a refreshing dip.

In the center is “Punta Laguna”, a beautiful water fountain perfect for enjoying the sunsets.

 

15 minutes away is the Spider Monkey Reserve where you can do different activities such as hiking, canoeing and a little rappel.

 

A 30-minute drive will take you to the famous beaches of Tulum or to the colonial city of Valladolid, famous for its gastronomy and culture.

 

The town of Sahcab Mucuy is located 35 minutes away, where you can visit the “Sanctuary of Mayan customs and traditions”, a sacred place that will allow you to live an authentic cultural experience; fill yourself with knowledge, receive a Mayan blessing and taste the melipona honey.

 

Chichén Itzá, another of the most popular archaeological sites in the state, is 1 hour away. Here you can take a day tour where you will learn about the history of this city and connect with the Mayan culture.

Yes, the archaeological site of Coba (Coba Ruins) is open daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with last entrance at 3:30 pm. The entrance fee is $100.00 MXN and $60.00 MXN for parking. Payment in cash only.

The town of Coba does not have ATM’s, so we recommend traveling with cash. The use of credit cards is acceptable but not in all stores. At Aldea Coba an escape boutique experience we accept Pesos, Dollars and Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards.
